I have 4+ years of fieldwork experience as an Archaeological sub-contractor. Over this time I have had the honour of working with Australia’s leading archaeologists in firms including: GML, Urbis, Everick, Artefact, and KNC.
This has allowed my to hone my skills and provide companies and clients with the latest in archaeological and recording methodology.

My report writing as a Heritage Consultant has allowed me to gain the experience to provide Due Dils in NSW, as well as portions of SoHIs.

My services are:

• Archaeological fieldwork anywhere within Australia. This includes hand excavation, site management, recording, photography, and on-site liaison to ensure consistent and safe site access.

• Report writing: specifically within NSW and VIC. This includes Aboriginal Heritage Due Diligences (AHDD), portions of ATRs and ACHARs, and portions of SoHIs.

Graduating from Macquarie University in 2021 with a BA in Ancient History and Archaeology (distinction) was a pivotal moment for me, this allowed me to pursue my passion for archaeology and research, as well as exploration and nature.

With four years of fieldwork experience and five years of dedicated research under my belt, I've only just begun and cannot wait to gain more experience as I develop my skills further.

My archaeological journey began with hands-on fieldwork, ranging from historical digs to immersive experiences in Aboriginal archaeology. These experiences not only honed my practical skills but also provided profound insights into the past. Participating in an international field school at Castello De Cuncos, Portugal in 2020 further broadened my horizons, exposing me to diverse archaeological methodologies from around the world.

My research interests have centered around the entwined histories of Polynesia and Europe from 1800 to 1850, exploring the intricate dynamics of cultural exchange and societal transformation during this transformative era.

Beyond academia, I find mental solace and physical rejuvenation in nature. Swimming in the surf, jogging along the trails, and embarking on exhilarating hikes and rugged camps are my go-to activities. Additionally, I channel my creativity into writing, crafting narratives that echo the stories of my own one-part mercantile and two-part convict family history.

To sum things up, I try to embody a blend of scholarly vigor and adventurous spirit, driven by a never-ending quest for new knowledge and discovery.

As an enthusiastic archaeologist and researcher, I believe that every story deserves the chance to be heard and has the potential to evolve beautifully.

My main goals are to see more of Australia’s unique archaeological potential through new projects and research in 2025-26. This, combined with the development of my company Veritas Genealogy when not working in the field or on reports.
